Murshid Hospital & Health Care Centre and Murshid School of Nursing & Midwifery to mark the World Hepatitis Day did a “Public Awareness Walk to Eliminate Hepatitis” on 28th July 2017. It has been a tradition of Murshid Hospital Management to spread awareness among local community as much as possible through participating in various educational programs, discussion sessions and public awareness walks.

The Walk started from Murshid Hospital and Health Care Center and after walking through local area ended at the same location. The nurses and staff of MHHCC held banners and educational drawings about Hepatitis.

Today most of the local community is not aware of the consequences of getting infected with deadly Hepatitis disease which globally causes over a million death per year.

Many patients are still not aware that this disease could be transmitted and they themselves may become the cause of spreading Hepatitis among others around them.
