The Murshid Hospital and Health Care Centre in-patient facilities are designed to cater for both elective and emergency admissions. There are 18 in-patient units with a capacity of approx. 200 beds. This includes 20 critical care beds of NICU and ICU and 5 beds of the isolation ward. Also, we have the facility of high dependency units of various specialities which includes medical, surgical, paediatrics and gynaecology for the patients who need observation. Moreover, the facility of the ventilator is also available. Other units are general wards (male and female), semi-private and private wing, Obstetrics and Gynaecology wards have the capacity of approx. 24 beds, while the paediatric wards currently have 20 beds capacity. Our purpose-built labour room suites are equipped with specialized electronic delivery beds, CTG machines & Television to provide a conducive environment for a woman who is experiencing labour pains.
All in-patients are routed either through Emergency or through OPD. Each service unit has a nursing station with a computer connected to a centralized information system which facilitates accessing patient records and manage services. We strive to provide the best possible services, with the combined efforts of our team of professionals including qualified consultants, trained nurses and paramedic staff.
