Mushtaq Chappra
Mushtaq Kassim Chhapra is a Pakistani philanthropist, a successful businessman on one hand, and has helped establish widely lauded initiatives such as The Citizens Foundation and the Patients’ Aid Foundation on the other. He is the Chairman of the Murshid Hospital Board of Governors Medical Committee. He is also the founder of The Citizens Foundation, Patients Aid Foundation, and The Kidney Centre. Mr. Chappra has played a key role in nurturing several prominent nonprofit organizations. He serves on the boards of the Patients’ Aid Foundation and The Kidney Centre.
Mr. Chappra is a Director in various companies and corporations including Coastal Trading, CBM Plastics, Transpak (Pvt) Ltd., Coastal Synthetics (Pvt) Ltd., Multi paper Products (Pvt) Ltd., and Coastal Converters (Pvt) Ltd. He is Chairman of the Executive Committee of Patient Aid Foundation, a Foundation that was established to extend help to needy and poor patients and provides free medicine. He is also a Member of the Board of Governors of The Kidney Centre, which provides treatment and dialysis to patients suffering from kidney problems.
In recognition of his eminent service to society, the Government of Pakistan has conferred upon him the Sitara-e-Imtiaz, one of Pakistan’s highest civil honors.
Tariq Mahmood
Dr. Tariq Mehmood is a member of the MH&HCC Medical Board, playing both a balancing and challenging role to ensure that the board, functions effectively.
Dr. Tariq Mahmood is an FCPS doctor currently working as Head of Department of Radiology, Cyberknife Tomotherapy Radiation Oncology at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, Karachi.
He has published many research papers in various national, international journals and newspapers. He is a member of various editorial boards of medical Journals; and a member of various technical committees on Health in different capacities. Dr. Tariq has trained hundreds of undergraduates, postgraduate doctors, and technicians.
He is an executive member of the Patients Aid Foundation JPMC and Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority Islamabad.
Dr A. Sattar E. Jaffer
Dr. Abdul Sattar E. Jaffer is one of the top Medical Specialist in Karachi, having a degree of MBBS, MRCP (UK & Ireland), DCH (UK).
Currently, he is practising at Murshid Hospital & Care Centre. Dr. Abdul Sattar E. Jaffer has advanced medical expertise in general medicine. He is also a member of the Board's Medical Committee.
Sabir H. Zaidi
Sabir is the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Corporate Services on the Jaffer Board of Directors. He is overseeing the operations of Murshid Hospital & Healthcare Center as a Management Representative and has been associated with Murshid Hospital for over a decade while acquiring a rich experience of all facets of its operations.
Sabir's experience varies from financial analysis, budgeting & management reporting, internal controls & audit, financial controls, treasury, taxation, and statutory compliance. He works closely with the CEO of MH&HCC to determine ways and means to achieve the overall purpose of the institution while identifying gaps or deficiencies in its operations and offers appropriate solutions.
His role is also to bring about efficiency and cost optimization in the operations for the achievement of the hospital’s vision. Sabir ensures that all individual directors are fully equipped to play their part in the Board of Governors.
Sabir is a Fellow Chartered Management Accountant from CIMA UK. Moreover, he has attended the Advanced Management Development Programs at the Institute of Management Development (IMD) Switzerland and Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). He is also a certified Director from the Institute of Business Administration Karachi.
Dr Kashif Mahmood Shah
Dr Kashif Mahmood, the Chief Executive Officer of Murshid Hospital & Health Care Centre since April 2017 is also working as the member of the Board's Medical Committee. Prior to this, he has served at Ziauddin Hospital as Deputy Medical Superintendent and Aga Khan University Hospital as Senior Medical Officer.
