Murshid Hospital has conducted six days workshop of Traditional Birth Attendants in collaborations with Janun Network & Dream Foundation. More than a dozen participants taken part in this workshop from all over Sindh. Murshid Hospital is also providing mess and accomodation facility to all participants.
A traditional birth attendant (TBA), also known as a traditional midwife, community midwife or lay midwife, is a pregnancy and childbirth care provider especially in rural areas where meternity clinics and hospital are not available. the trained TBAs provide more broader health care services and they enjoy greater community acceptance and provide greater consumer satisfaction.
