3 Days Free Obstetrical Fistula & Ovaries Surgical Camp started on 9th October 2017, at Murshid Hospital & Healthcare Centre. The camp was inaugurated by Dr Samina Naz, the head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department. Dr Kashif Mahmood Shah, CEO Murshid Hospital and Senior Consultant Dr Kalimullah Theeham were also present on this occasion.
During the awareness session Dr Samina Naz gave an easy to understand & comprehensive presentation about obstetrical fistula in which she elaborates the causes of obstetrical fistula and how to treat & avoid complications related to obstetrical fistula. She reiterated that Murshid Hospital is one of the few hospitals that provides complete free treatment including surgery, transportation of the patients & accommodation with food for the attendants as well.
Senior consultant Dr Kaleemullah Theeham kept translating the discussion for the participants who were unable to understand Urdu language. A large number of patients visited the camp to avail free of cost treatment. The Certificate to participants and refreshment were also provided at the end of the session.
