Pharmacy is open 24 hours for general public and serves not only patients coming for consultation and treatment at the hospital clinics, but also fulfils the medication requirement of the in-patients wards.
Hospital Pharmacy is responsible to maintain the required stock especially for the critical medications and drugs for the hospital. It also keeps proper check for the quality, proper storage and expiry time of these medications. Another responsibility towards the patient is to check for providing accurate dosage form and check drugs interaction. The Murshid Hospital and Health Care Centre has experienced pharmacists and pharmacy technicians round the clock for guidance and help. Murshid Hospital and Health Care Centre is planning to expand its pharmacy and meet the drug and medication requirement for the community living in adjacent areas.
Murshid Hospital & Health Care Centre also offers on-the-job Pharmacist Training Programme. Since its inception in 2012, the programme has successfully trained many pharmacists. The main objective of this training is to provide practical skills of pharmacy practice to the trainee while moulding them into an effective and skilled work force.
